El Bolson is a colorful locality located in the margin of the Quemquemtreu river and on the foot of the Piltriquitrón cord, to the west of the province of Rio Negro, almost nearly to the limit of the province of Chubut. Nailed in the fertile Valle Nuevo -New Valley-.
The microclimate and the height average of the valley in which it is turn into agriculturist population. There are a fruit-horticultiral and wood production and a special one on planted of lúpulo -the fruit for making beer-.
The locality of El Bolson was declared Ecological Town Council by a municipal article of incorporation of 1991, for the preservation of its natural resources for the future generations.
El Bolson is basically to make diverse tours by its environs; for example to the National Park Lago Puelo at the south, in the province of Chubut.
